Fact #12
Every person on Earth has a unique smell. Except identical twins who smell the same. Now I really wish I was an identical twin...
Fact #11
Rainbows are circular. We just see part of them. Double rainbows are two circles inside one another, making them exceptionally rare.

Fact #10
Banging your head against a wall burns 150 calories an hour. However, I would not recommend this as a suitable exercise regimen because at the end you might not remember your name.

Fact #8
Amor nunca falla. Love never fails. Because it doesn't and it never will. And when you feel like it has, it's just because you haven't fought hard enough.

Fact #7
The Eiffel Tower receives a fresh coat of 300 tons of reddish-green paint every seven years. So really, if you thought re-painting your house was bad...

Fact #6
On average, 12 babies are given to the wrong parents daily. So ABC Family's Switched at Birth actually isn't completely random.

Fact #5
A teenager has changed his legal name to "Captain Fantastic Faster Than Superman Spiderman Batman Wolverine Hulk and the Flash Combined". I think that he might have been a bit of a comic book nerd.

Day #3
Someone asked me today what I was doing. I said, "Updating my blog." They then asked, "Who looks at it?" And to that I replied, "I don't know, nor to I particularly care."
Even if no one comments, no one asks me about it, or even if no one besides me ever sees this, it still will serve it's purpose. And it's purpose is to keep me from going insane by letting me get my thoughts out to something. Because I so do not write in diaries.

Fact #3
I officially don't have the worst memory in the history of the universe. Unfortunately the goldfish claims that title. It has a memory span of 3 seconds. So whenever you want to try and train your goldfish to jump through hoops, good luck with that.

Tattoos On My Heart
Tattoo. It's a word that most parents never want to hear their child use in the same sentence as "I" and "want." What really is so bad about a tattoo though? All it is is ink. Ink that you have permanently marked as a reminder, a sentiment, a statement, a vow. When my mom asked me why I had Sharpied symbols and words onto my skin, I said that it was my way of getting a tattoo.

unless...
a star
a heart
a constellation
الامل
Each has a specific meaning, one that defines me as a person.
imagine - because that's all you have to do to achieve your dreams
unless... - because that's what the Lorax said. "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better; it's not."
a star - because I am a star in my own way: one of a kind, unique, special
a heart - because we all need a little love in our lives
a constellation - because there are much greater things than me in this life
الامل - because "al-amal" means hope and hope means a brighter future

Day #1
I love facts. Random facts. Really, any sort of thing that even sounds factual interests me. You could tell me a complete and utter lie, but if you said it like you were regurgitating something from an almanac, I'd probably believe you. So, to enjoy my love of facts even more, every day one more fact will be posted. It could really be anything at all. Whatever is floating around in this crazy head of mine is going to be spat out on this blog.
So, Fact #1:
Father's Day was created by one Miss Nora Dodd in 1910. Nora Dodd's father was a Civil War veteran and the single father of six children. Dodd wanted to honor her father in a similar way to Mother's Day, which had been instituted in 1909. Dodd pushed hard and campaigned to make Father's Day an official holiday. Dodd was a resident of Spokane, WA, and she after her campaign gained traction, she pushed her church pastor to make her father's birthday the date for this new commercial holiday. However, the pastor could not organize the congregation in time for Dodd's father's birthday on the 5th of June, so the date was pushed back to the third Sunday of June. The first Father's Day was celebrated at the Spokane YMCA on June 19, 1910.
